Estir, also known as The King in Yellow, is one of the three girls that D gets to date with, as long as D performs all of his performances as shown in the manual. Estir first appears in chapter 1 as Missy, then becomes a dateable option in Chapter 2, alongside her rivaling sister Ln'eta.
Appearance[]
Estir is a humanoid eldritch abomination with yellow tentacles as legs. She has dark brown sclera, and her irises are of a pinkish-orange hue, Estir also has golden lipstick. Her hair is made up of peach colored tentacles tied up in golden hair ties, she dons a veil with a golden ballroom mask covering half of her face. Estir dons a large yellow dress with a neckline reaching her chest, large, puffy, short sleeves with golden cuffs, a golden ribbon that is wrapped around her waist. Beneath her waistline there's a panel wrapping around her hips, with a slightly darker shade of yellow petticoat. Underneath her dress are a series of yellow tentacles acting as her legs.
As Missy, Her hair is blonde with a slight peachy tint to it and is worn in a semi-twin tail, her sclera is white instead of the usual black with a white, heart shaped eyepatch covering her left eye. Missy's lipstick is pink and has human legs. There are elements of Estir's outfit incorporated into Missy's with a more modern touch to it: Her top is relegated to a softer peach-yellow, low neckline blouse with frilled cuffs, underneath it is a beige cream turtleneck sweater/jumpsuit. She still has her ribbon although it isn't glittering and a short pale yellow skirt.
Personality[]
Estir is quite arrogant because she is a ''king'' which gives her great power and social status, but she also shows that she is capable of losing her patience and getting upset often, mainly when D makes a comment that clearly irritates her.
Relationships[]
D[]
Estir as Missy is D's number one patron and mostly covers for his rent and other commodities. She outright dislikes having secrets being kept from her as shown in chapter 1. In her chapter, she expresses her grandiose personality and her followers to D, and since he's participating in her rituals, she treats him like a servant having him cook for her and the other cult members and reenact plays with her as Missy. During the marriage ending she's completely taken aback by the fact that he's willing to marry her. If the player managed to have D keep Estir and Ln'eta in the same room, She'll express sheer anger and disappointment in D.
Ln'eta[]
Ln'eta and Estir don't seem to have the best relationship, even as sisters. Having to constantly fight about potential suiters and cult members.
In Date to Die for, it isn't known how their relationship was, but it seemed that they were somewhat close.
Nyanlathotep[]
There isn't much interaction between Nyanlathotep and Estir, but it's quite clear the former is protective of her nieces.
Rhok'zan[]
In Date to Die for, Rhok'zan is amicable and friendly towards her then-young granddaughters, and is willing to tell them tales of her dreams, and Estir was willing to curiously listen in.
Her cult[]
Estir's cult is mostly made up of men, especially married ones as well, this shows that she clearly has no care if they had a life before coming across her. She mostly treats them as if they were her audience, letting them clap after her performance with D.

Trivia[]
- Estir's the only one with a ritual book that acts as a script instead of a spell book.
- Her dress has a slight resemblance to Cinderella's and with a bit of a Belle from "Beauty and the beast" touch to it.
- Juxtapose to Ln'eta, her Tentacles are located to where her legs should be.
- Although Estir's female, she goes by the title of king, that's because Eldritch gods lack gender norms that humans have, thus going by "King" instead of "Queen".
