Ln'eta is one of the three girls that D gets to perform a smooch with, as long as D does her rituals. Ln'eta appears in chapter 1.
History[]
Before First date[]
Ln'eta and Estir used to be curious young girls who would listen to their grandmother; Rhok'zan's dreams. It is unknown to what happened later on.
Chapter 1[]
When D spawns Ln'eta after performing The Calling ritual, Ln'eta asks D who dares to summon her and why. D says that he wants to smooch her, and Ln'eta is surprised. She tells D to send her back, but then the book was mentioned, and all of a sudden, Ln'eta was interested. The two discussed the book/manual, which is a survival guide for dating Ln'eta and protecting D's sanity. D was told that if he could make it to the end of the manual, D would be able to smooch Ln'eta, otherwise, reality would end. Ln'eta tells D to do the Invoke the Depths ritual.
After D performs this ritual, Ln'eta is happy being "home" because D brought the depths to the room. She tells D that the more D gets closer to her true form, the stronger her influence is in this world.
After D performs the Metamorphosis ritual, he gains tentacles on his face. Ln'eta greets D and compliments him for looking more like a creature of her own. The heart meter goes up by one.
If D is reading the page about the Breakup ritual, Ln'eta would show up to D and warn him about what would happen if he performs the ritual, and if he does it, Ln'eta would kill him. However, there is only one way to perform this ritual without dying, and if this was performed after the Dark Commission ritual and before the Final Pledge ritual, there would be a brief cutscene showing Ln'eta saddened and in her floating squid form (because her heart was broken) and the human feeling normal again. At the very end, D attempts to kiss Ln'eta, but then Ln'eta would punch him.
After D performs the Prepare Offering ritual, Ln'eta compliments the smell of the offering. She then mentions that she is going to walk outside for a bit.
Once D does the Reach into Oblivion ritual, then goes into the Escape Reality ritual, Ln'eta comes back into the room, after D stopped glimpsing the real world. She tells D not to worry about the reality. Since D woke Ln'eta up, D would be unable to hear the screams of the other people.
After D performs the Dark Commission ritual, Ln'eta compliments the food that was offered, hence another heart was added to the meter. She then tells D that there is only one more spell to perform, which is pledging himself to her. She talks about the end of humanity, and then decided to nap, but before D would be able to perform his final ritual to Ln'eta, she asks D to turn off the lights for her nap. Once that is done, she thanks D for doing so.
After D performs the Final Pledge ritual, Ln'eta informs that the last ritual is done. She then tells D that the dream/date is about to end, and hopes that it could end well with D. Just before D is about to smooch, the final heart is incremented into the smooch meter, and the smooch button would be activated. Once D presses that button, D and Ln'eta smooch each other, and the chapter ends with the "Awake" Ending (or if D broke up, it would be the "Good Enough" Ending).
Chapter 2[]
In chapter 2, D can interact with Ln'eta again and perform the same rituals. After The Calling ritual, Ln'eta is happy to meet D again. She also revealed she is part of a godlike family of 50 family members in it. Ln'eta reveals she is the sister of Estir. Who she shares a rivalry with due to Estir stealing members of her cult. If D had Estir's kiss mark not washed off, then Ln'eta would see Estir's kiss mark on D forehead, which angers Ln'eta enough to threaten to kill D, but then, she pretended it wasn't from Estir, so D would be spared. However, otherwise, she would find out D unknowingly had a dirty magazine, but Ln'eta would forgive D for it.
From this point on, Ln'eta shows more love and affection towards D in Chapter 2, like when Ln'eta was concerned about how D's face, eyes and nose were disintegrated. The Breakup ritual is ripped and the Eldritch Mouth ritual is overridden by the task of giving Ln'eta a big hug. She also tells D to be careful not to eat too much.
She tells D to perform one last ritual and can do it at any time. However, once D does that, she would be worried about having to leave D.
Appearance[]
Ln'eta is a tall and curvy anthropomorphic Cthulhu with light green skin, pink hair drawn into a ponytail, one pair of pink eyes and a pair of ash brown bat wings with dark red undersides. She wears a white all-body thermal under an ash brown garment, which has a dark red symbol on it, and wears a ruby with an odd bright red symbol on it around her waist, secured with two bands the same color of the gem.
Relationship and personality[]
At first, since she had no idea from whom she was summoned and for what reason, she would resort to threatening violence towards the summoner. However, she was told by D that there was a book containing all of the rituals as a guide that can be used to make D survive during the date. From that point, her personality changes into being a more of a loving person over time, especially the more D performs rituals. However, she could be strict, mean, or threatening at times, most notably when D is reading about the Breakup ritual, which she thinks is being considered by D. Though, if D continues to do all of the linear rituals as planned, the heart meter increases over time, and with the Final Pledge being performed, the heart meter maximizes and makes sure Ln'eta loves D very much, allowing D to smooch her.

- Ironically, Ln'eta does not have suctions cups on her tentacles in the game art.
- Ln'eta pronounces her name as "Ln'eha" in her introduction.
