Nyanlathotep is one of the three girls that D gets to receive a smooch from, as long as the player performs all of his rituals as shown in the manual. Nyanlathotep appears in chapter 3. She is the aunt of Ln'eta, Estir and Rho'kzan.
Appearance[]
Nyanlathotep is a towering lady with a voluptuous body, having turquoise fur that covers her entire body and a hime-bob-style haircut. Her face is black pit with a single Horus-style eye with no other discernible features. However, when angered or agitated, black tendrils may come out. She wears white see trough robes with a golden usekh on her shoulders and neck and golden bracers on her forearms and golden high heels as well, she has a tail that is turquoise and gold striped with a red bow and 2 golden bells on the end of it. She also has 2 blue cat ears on her head, both of her hands are clawed with turquoise colored nails
In Date to Die for, Nyanlathotep's fur is black and she's noticeably muscular.
Personality[]
At first, she presents herself as a more curious but mature and almighty powerful woman to D, and he feels overwhelmed with her presence. She sometimes prefers not to date the player in the first place, and rather end the connections between humans and gods like her then granting D's wish for a kiss. She also seems to be the least gullible out of the three girls, since she is presented as the person that is the hardest to make her fall in love with.
In Date to Die for, she's protective, stern and would taunt Stardust with a tally count on how many times the human had died.
History[]
Date to Die For[]
Nyanlathotep makes her full debut at episode 2, originally appearing as a faceless Russian Blue, she proceeds to taunt Stardust for ever interfering with her niece; Rhok'zan. Before she left Stardust alone she left a tally mark on how many times the human girl died, optionally the player can use the marks to stop Billie from pursuing them for a while. At the end of the fourth chapter, her chime bells can be heard, if followed this leads to Nyanlathotep revealing what happened to Stardust many dreams ago and reminding them that She used to absolutely despise the cult and wanted to put an end to all of this, giving Stardust and the player an option to wake Rhok'zan or live happily.
First Date[]
At the beginning of chapter 3, she introduces herself as someone unimaginable to be feared, but when she wants D to introduce himself, she often questions about him, his room, and the time he dated her nieces. When D first saw her, he thought of a few characteristics that would give him the urge to smash her. They then discuss a little bit, and she mentioned that she is the last of the three Outer Gods that the player would meet. She also mentions that humans flirting with the Outer Gods is quite taboo. Though, since this already happened with Ln'eta and Estir, she mentions that it is okay for him to kiss Nyanlathotep for this one time, so she gives him her own version of the manual, where the player must perform rituals, and more specifically, start with the Banish Muu ritual, which would destroy the connection between the realms of humans and the eldritch gods.
Good end[]
If the player performs the Banish Muu ritual, Nyanlathotep will end up with D together forever.
True end[]
If the player performs the Banish Nyanlathotep ritual, the smooch bar will turn into a health bar, and taking too long to perform Counter-Evil rituals will take away a heart. After the initial Porosity ritual, they will be completely random, so the player has to make sure they are paying close attention to what is occurring around them, and read carefully to commit to the proper ritual. Moreover, for every ritual performed, Nyanlathotep gradually talks to the player about how the next ritual to perform would be harder. At some point, she got impressed by how many counter-evils D performs (assuming he does), and the final counterevil after that, she claims that D cannot escape her.
After the final counterevil, Nyanlathotep was concerned as to how D is able to do so many counterevils. He mentions that the strongest emotion is not fear, but rather, lust. He mentions that he is in her dream, which shocked her well. Since D figured out escaping her, she was in shock and distress, and she now fears of D.
