Rhok'zan, also known as The Black Goat of the Woods, is the sole romantic option of Sucker for Love: Date to Die For. She is summoned by Stardust to help her survive The Thousand Young. She is Estir and Ln'eta's grandmother as well as Nyanlathotep's niece.
Appearance[]
Rhok'zan is a curvaceous, anthropomorphic goat with a faded lilac fur, curved forward horns and long purple hair, she has four green eyes and a beauty mark under her right eye. She also has wrinkles on the sides of her eyes conveying her old age.
Rhok'zan dons a golden neck collar, earrings, hooves and tips on her horn. She has V-shaped bridal gauntlets and a black furred dress that can contort into monstrous figures.
In chapter 2 she wears a large, black T-shirt with the picture of a cow and the tagline "Always in the Mooood" written on it.
Personality[]
Rhok'zan is a caring and motherly god, seeming to care only for her cultists and wanting them to thrive only for that to backfire against her. She's also rebellious and touch-starved (the latter alleged from Muu) for wanting to kiss Stardust then and there after the former has been confronted by Nyanlathotep.
In the previous game, Ln'eta briefly referred to her as the deity with the most important follower base amongst their family, and even told the protagonist about the requirements to join her cult. Although she has sworn off humans by the time of her first encounter with Stardust, nothing clearly indicates whether it's still the case when Sucker for Love: First Date took place.

Trivia[]

Shub N.
- Before Sucker for Love: Date to Die For was ever announced, concept design of Rhok'zan was made where she was dressed up as a nun/priestess, she was less voluptuous and had more tentacles to her and was simply labeled as "Shub N.," she was featured along with Azathoth.
- Some design elements from her concept art were kept, such as her gloves, eyes, horns and beauty mark were present. The contorted tentacles from the concept design were later changed to become her dress's neckline.
- Her full name is Italian for "dark forest."
- Compared to the other dateable gods before her, she starts out with three broken hearts, showing that she's traumatized and in pain to what Buck and his cult did to her.
- As the story progresses, Rhok'zan starts using terms of endearment more frequently whenever she interacts with Stardust -- one of them being gof'nn hupadgh,[1] which means "The Blessed" in R'lyehian.
- Later on, Akabaka posted about Rhok'zan's timeskip design on his Twitter/X account and explained that's what she looked like during the events of First Date, ultimately establishing Date to Die For as a prequel.
